March 21st, 2003 – Riverside California – RedFusion Media of Redlands was honored with two awards Saturday night at the annual Inland Empire Ad Club ADDY Awards banquet held at the Mission Inn in Riverside. RedFusion received a Silver ADDY Award for Website Design in the category of “Industry Self-promotion, Interactive”. It was produced by designer Jon Burgess and webmaster Alan Jessup. The award was for the re-design of the www.RedFusionMedia.com site.
RedFusion also received an ADDY Award of Merit in the category of “Mixed-media Campaign-Business to Business Local”, for their client Brithinee Electric of Colton. The campaign was targeted to water districts throughout Southern California. It included three direct mail pieces, that directed recipients to the Brithinee Electric website, built with coordinating design elements. The campaign was also coordinated with DuPont who makes a material used by Brithinee. The campaign was developed and planned by Ron Burgess, written by Molly Burgess, and the website designed by Alan Jessup and Jon Burgess.
Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, the ADDY® Awards honor excellence in advertising and cultivate the highest creative standards in the industry. ADDY® Awards are the nation’s largest advertising competition. Each spring the competition begins at the local level with the 210 AAF member clubs around the country. Entries must first be submitted in a local competition to be eligible for the ADDY® process. The local winners proceed to 14 regional competitions, and those winners proceed to the national finals. Five judges from outside the Inland Empire scored each entry based on high standards and quality.
RedFusion Media is a division of Burgess Management Consulting. RedFusion Media produces marketing promotional materials and Websites. It specializes in “new media” tools such as the Internet, and Interactive CDRom design.
