Today is 11-12-13, your day to give to our local community with Give Big Riverside (http://www.givebigriverside.com). Give BIG Riverside is a 24-hour web-a-thon that raises much needed funds for local nonprofits.
For 24 hours, starting at midnight on November 12th, area nonprofits will rally their supporters, current and new, for a massive effort to raise $300,000 and awareness for needs in our community through this online webathon.
There are 139 Non-profits to give to this year, and here are a few we have worked with in the past and hope you may want to support.
- Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House
- Junior League of Riverside
- Boys & Girls Club of Redlands
- Unforgettable Foundation
- Kids Rock Free School of Music
- California Riverside Ballet

This year, Jon Burgess was a part of the Give Big Riverside marketing committee. He had the pleasure of working with a great team of professionals along with a team of students from the Art Institute-Inland Empire.
“I think the inspiring thing about the project was the students’ enthusiasm for getting involved in a giving event. The team of 8 really looked at how their millenials’ generation could be engaged and encouraged to give,” said Burgess.
Andrew Oaks of Green Acres Design was the students instructor and helped mold their designs and thoughts into some great branding.
